Searched google for "train design", immediately jumped to "Raymond Loewy" and then to "streamlining". That's where I found this :

camper rear view cam

I have this old camper, in which it is impossible to see what's behind it when you're parking. Since I'm already using a mini laptop as a gps, it was obvious to attach a small web cam to the rear window. But the viewing angle was a wee bit on the small side. So after reading this and this article I cut a peeping hole into and with some tape came up with this:

In the picture above was taken with a standard webcam. Next picture was taken whit the peephole cam
Ok it's a lot darker and more blurry, but maybe in daylight it might just fit my needs.

I wil be checking it out this weekend on my trip to France!!

Paul Brodie's Excelsior

Mechanics all the way: Paul Brodie from Flashback Fabrications is showing his step by step build of the Excelsior boardtracker. History of this bike can be found on the web. Nice insight on how this bike came to life for those who love mechanics here

Cyclone boardtracker copy

I really like boardtrackers, the original bikes and the style. This guy build a replica based on a lawnmower engine. You can check out his cool blog here.
